MEDITATIONS SOMETIMES I'M MARRIED
WOODBLOCK PRINTS
In 2005, after a long career as a digital illustrator, I began making woodblock prints using the traditional Japanese method, called moku hanga or ukiyo-e. In this technique, a wooden block is carved for each color and the blocks are printed successively with water-based pigments using a hand-held burnishing tool called a baren. Completely hand made on fine Japanese papers, these works are created in small limited editions of 5 to 15 per design.

Here you will find the prints divided by topic, as I tend to work in series. All prints are available for purchase. Simply click on the price and you will be taken to an order form on PayPal.
