A is for accordian. Accordian is “a Type 1 Cryptographic algorithm used by the NSA in a number of crypto products.”

Hieroglyphics are a cryptographer's dream, as they stopped being used in Egypt by around 400 AD and it took 1400 years before any other peoples were able to translate them.
